Dean Inserra, The Well's founding and senior pastor, has had a calling on his life since he was the student body president at Leon High School to start a church in his hometown of Tallahassee. Dean's desire is to lead a church that connects with the needs of his generation and the college campuses of Tallahassee which are very skeptical to any type of organized religion. He has a degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University and also attended Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Dean has served as a Youth Minister in Tallahassee and regularly speaks at campus organizations at Florida State University.

Dean married his wife Krissie in December 0f 2003. Krissie is from Ft. Lauderdale and a graduate of Florida State. Their first son, Tommy, was born in August of 2006, and their second son, Ty, was born in May of 2010. (You can read Dean's blog here).
